“Flowing” is my response to the oil catastrophe that occurred in the North Saskatchewan River in 2016. It is a reminder that while disasters may sometimes occur, and beauty may be hidden for a time, that beauty can and will return.
From the past and into the future, the river will continue to flow. Despite any disasters, nature will renew itself and beauty will return. The peace that the water brings will continue to nourish the souls of those who come to it. Be still, as the hands of time move, so too, will the river continue flowing.
