Take a walk in my shoes

Before you judge me, take a walk in my shoes. Walk a mile that I walked, bear the pain that I bore, then decide how you would walk that same path.

It is so easy to judge others, to treat people unfair or unkind without a thought. But how would we feel if the tables were turned and instead of being the giver to be the receiver. It seems to happen so often in the world in which we live.

How about before acting or reacting to a situation we try to think of how we would feel in that same position. No one wants to be spoken to harshly, no one wants to be treated unfairly. We all want a kind word, a verbal hug. It doesn't matter how badly someone has treated you, never bring yourself to that level. Always take the high road and spread kindness and love. Treat everyone how you would want to be treated.
