I stumbled across a quote today that said life is a series of small miracles. I don't remember who it was by. But it stayed on my mind all day.

How very true that is! How often we forget that when 'life' weighs down on you, there is still so much to be grateful for. Just waking up in the morning for example. I remember while having chemo being in the hospital and afraid to close my eyes and go to sleep because I was afraid that I wouldn't wake up. That time is now behind me but oh how grateful I am, every single day for the miracle of waking up and being given the opportunity to live another day.

When we look back at our lives, there are so many miracles that occur in our daily existence that ensure we get to see another day. There is no trick to figuring it out, we just have to practice being grateful for every miracle and every blessing that comes our way and more are sure to follow.
